Manfred Speer - The Lion & the Lamb

“Take a step back… yeah. Open the shirt—good. Now lean into the frame so the sun hits your chest.”

Manfred settles into place, catching the sunlight without needing much adjustment.

“Nice… now give me your best bedroom eyes.”

He shifts—just enough—hand drifting to his crotch instinctively, part tease, part habit.

Jim smiles. “Good choice.”

Click.

1 - doorway unbuttoned

Manfred Speer is my first real model crush. There are others—plenty of them—but he’s the first one that made my body react before my brain could catch up. That kind of immediate response gets my attention. There’s something about the total package—the gestalt—that just hits me every time.

2 - truck, driver's seat

3 - cowboy hat

4 - front side in nature

Of course, he checks the obvious boxes—strong, well-built, confident. But what pulls me in is the humanity. Thinning hair, not overly furry, not exaggerated in any one direction. It makes him feel reachable, like he’s not some untouchable ideal. There’s a balance in his face too—solid, masculine presence with just a hint of softness underneath. Lion and lamb at the same time.

5 - backside in nature

6 - sitting thinker

7 - doorway and library

And then there’s the rest of it—the golden skin, that mustache, the build, the attitude. It all just works. He was a Colt guy, so you get the trucks, the boots, the leather—but honestly, he doesn’t need any of it. He sells it on his own. Completely natural. Completely convincing.

8 - squatting and looking into camera

9 - towel and boots

10 - reclining in chair

Bonus - reclining on fur

Thoughts?

Anyone know if Manfred Speer is his real name?  It sounds like a gay pornstar pseudonym to me "Man-Speer." Haha! But, seriously, would love to know more about him.  Found an actual obituary with this name, so it is a real name, but I don't think it's the same guy.
