Five men, one last name, and not much else in common other than letting it all hang out at a time when it was more risky. Kirk, Tom, Hank, Gary, and Tony Evans—bring their own personalities and physiques to the camera in photographs by Jim French, Don Whitman, and of course, Bob Mizer.
1. Kirk Evans on an antique chair with purple towel beneath him and purple drapery in the background by Jim French.
2. Kirk Evan from below next to a column and sky in the background by Jim French.
3. Gary Evans in the Rockies by Don Whitman.
4. Gary Evans reclining on a boulder by Don Whitman.
5. Tom (Tommy) Evans in front of glittery backdrop by Bob Mizer.
6. Tom Evans from behind by Mizer.
7. Hand Evans on a sofa by Bob Mizer.
8. Hank Evans tied to two pillars on a theatrical set by Bob Mizer.
9. Tony Evans in a deep squat on a box by Bob Mizer. I like the lighting, pyramid shape, vertical symmetry, and rule of thirds at play in this composition...a lot to appreciate here.
10. Tony Evans in a reclined pose by Mizer. There are strong lines of action, forced perspective, and beautiful contrast between hard and soft shapes.
