Mystery Men are the guys I keep stumbling across in multiple collections, sites, and scans who somehow still remain unidentified — no photographer credit, no studio stamp, no model name, no context. If any of you recognize these men or have any clues, please share what you know.
May Mystery Man #2 — very handsome dark-haired “movie star” type with a young Rock Hudson look, athletic build, fair skin, and some truly impressive hairy buns and legs posed around drapes, mirrors, doors, and low bookshelves in what looks like a modest apartment.
May Mystery Man #3 — lean blond twink type with shaggy hair, a great boyish smile, uncut cock, and hands-on-hips poses against a simple white backdrop that feels more underground snapshot than polished studio shoot.
May Mystery Man #4 — tall well-hung sailor type wearing nothing but a little white sailor cap while holding what may be a book in front of striped wallpaper and uneven lighting that reads a little amateur or impromptu.
May Mystery Man #5 — (see April 11-Drinking #12) shaggy-haired apartment boy making a return appearance from the Drinking post, small framed but very fit with pale skin, a little five-o’clock shadow, and a seriously impressive endowment while posing around doors, shelves, in and a coffee table in someone's apartment. Something about the image quality reads like it might be more current, but I'd still like to know who is is.
The last two are from a now defunct blog whose name I can no longer remember. He claimed to have taken the photos of subjects such as this guy himself. He had quite the portfolio of rough and redneck types. Very reminiscent of Old Reliable. I think I still have a few of the guys he most likely paid to pose.
