This set begins with Jeff Rearson, better known as Barry Hoffman, and ends with Bob Kelly.
1. Jeff Rearson aka Barry Hoffman blonde Kundzicz, Hurles, and Colt model on the fence.
In between are heavy hitters like Dick Miller, David Keith Miller, Alan Corriveau, Steve Kotis, and several others making themselves comfortable in one of the most social rooms in the house.
2. Dick Miller, beautiful furry stud kneeling in front of the stereo.
3. David Keith Miller, blonde athlete in ornate living room.
Living rooms occupy a funny space between public and private. They're where we entertain guests, have a drink before dinner, watch television, take a nap, or simply lounge around at the end of the day.
4. Alan Corriveau holding himself down hard (notice the size of that vein).
5. Steve Kotis by Chuck Renslow well-proportioned physique model checking out the crystal collection.
Unlike bedrooms and bathrooms, they're meant to be seen. Unlike dining rooms, they're not tied to a specific activity. They're the room where life happens between appointments.
6. Paul Labriola sucking in his gut between piano and TV.
7. Unknown model looking at himself in front of ornate wrought-iron Spanish or Moorish-style screen.
That makes them surprisingly effective settings for physique photography. A naked man in a living room feels both relaxed and slightly risky. After all, what happens if someone rings the doorbell?
8. Wayne Ewing posing in front of messy couch.
9. Gale David aka John Bryan, curly ginger hair sitting on sideboard.
The result is a fantasy that feels less staged than many studio photographs. We aren't looking at a statue on a pedestal. We're looking at a guy at home, comfortable in his surroundings, inviting us to pull up a chair and stay awhile.
10. Bob Kelly facing front with hands on hips.
