Davis was a popular name in physique photography. Meet Wink, Gene, Ivan, Brad, Alan, Marty, Clancey, Wade, Mike, and Sean. No relation, as far as I know, but quite a handsdome collection of men. Spanning several decades of twentieth-century physique photography, these men offer a wide range of looks, personalities, and photographic styles. Some familiar faces, others more obscure, but every one worth a second look.

3. Ivan Davis aka Drexel Poe by RA Enterprises.
4. Brad Davis by Walter Kundzicz with a yellow schiffon drape. Not to be confused with the actor in Querelle below;)
4a. Brad Davis, openly gay actor in Querelle by Rainer Werner Fassibinder in 1982.
5. Alan Davis by Metecue (*see October 19 post on Metecue).
6. Marty Davis wearing cowboy hat and cutoff shorts by RA Enterprises in 1960.
7. Clancey Davis on a bicycle. I think this is by Bob Mizer by looking at the background and style of photo, but I could be wrong here. Clancey is also credited in a photo with Paul Tischler by Mizer in 1980 (*see September 16 post on Guns) so he definitely worked with Mizer.
8. Wade Davis in Something Wild by Robert Walter in 1984. (Second model possibly Glen Armstrong).
9. Mike Davis aka Winn Strickland wearing a cockring -- Jim French.
10. Sean Davis in a deep squat by Falcon. Wishing he wasn't so trimmed or bleached, but those were popular trends in the 80s.
